Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS) is excited to announce the return of its much-anticipated Bufet Citarasa Warisan, a grand buffet that brings together the best of Malay, Western, and Arabic-inspired dishes. This year, the buffet will run from 4th to 27th March 2025, perfectly coinciding with the Ramadan season. Guests can look forward to a truly exceptional dining experience that showcases authentic flavors and traditional favorites.
On 15th February 2025, the preview event for the Bufet Citarasa Warisan was held at the Poolside Terrace, giving attendees a glimpse of the delicious spread of 70 carefully crafted dishes set to be served during the Ramadan period. The buffet will be available daily from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to indulge in this extraordinary feast.
This year’s buffet is designed to evoke a sense of togetherness and family dining, inspired by the joyful spirit of a traditional Malay kenduri (celebration). The Poolside Terrace will be transformed with vibrant decorations and lively music, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests to experience Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage.
The buffet will feature a wide variety of dishes, including the much-loved Biryani Specials from the Poolside Terrace Café, prepared using a traditional family recipe that has been passed down through generations. The chef’s homemade biryani spice paste adds a special touch, elevating the dish to a new level of flavor. In addition, guests can savor the tender and flavorful Kambing Golek (roasted lamb), freshly grilled satay, and a selection of kid-friendly options. Traditional festive treats such as Lemang and Ketupat also make an appearance, bringing the familiar and beloved tastes of Hari Raya into the celebration.
With approximately 70 dishes on offer, there is something for everyone. Whether you prefer a hearty serving of biryani, grilled meats, or fresh salads, each dish is designed to bring out the best of Malaysia’s diverse culinary traditions.
Leading the culinary journey is Chef Azman bin Rogi Khan, an accomplished chef with over nine years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Although his academic background is in Information Technology from MSU, Chef Azman’s passion for cooking led him to pursue a career in the culinary arts at the age of 18. By 22, he had fully immersed himself in the world of Malay and Middle Eastern cuisine.
As the Director of AAHR Catering Enterprise and AAHR Management SB, Chef Azman oversees five cafeterias and is known for his exceptional ability to deliver memorable dining experiences. Over the years, he has catered for prestigious clients, including the Royal Family of Negeri Sembilan, PETRONAS, and SPNB (Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad). Chef Azman’s excellence in his craft was further acknowledged when he was named “The Best Caterer” by the Royal Family of Negeri Sembilan.
Among his signature dishes, Nasi Biryani stands out as a crowd favorite. Made with a homemade biryani spice paste that infuses each bite with rich, aromatic flavors, this dish is guaranteed to impress. Nasi Biryani will be available throughout the buffet, giving guests ample opportunity to enjoy this beloved dish.
