Bateriku (M) Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia’s leading Connected Roadside Assistance Solutions Provider, has officially entered into a strategic partnership with R&A Marketing Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of the Sendok Group and distributor of CAM Light Commercial Vehicles. The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), aims to elevate the after-sales service experience for CAM’s clients, offering enhanced support for their diverse range of vehicles.
R&A Marketing is known for distributing a wide lineup of CAM Light Commercial Vehicles, including vans, minibuses, light trucks, special-purpose vehicles, and its CAM EV series of electric commercial vehicles. Meanwhile, Bateriku.com specializes in providing 24/7 roadside assistance for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles, hybrid cars, and electric vehicles (EVs) across Malaysia.
The MOA signing ceremony, held at Bateriku.com’s Podium, marked a pivotal step forward in the collaboration. The partnership introduces CAM clients to a more streamlined and responsive after-sales experience, backed by Bateriku.com’s 24/7/365 Contact Centre and its extensive network of gig-based mobile technicians, known as “BHeroes.” These BHeroes will deliver on-site, on-demand assistance services nationwide, including jumpstarts, battery replacements, tyre changes, and towing services — anytime, anywhere.
The collaboration also paves the way for innovative service enhancements. CAM clients will benefit from Bateriku.com’s scheduled pick-and-drop vehicle service, utilizing Bateriku.com’s workshop ecosystem. This network includes prominent service providers such as Petronas AutoExpert and Mannol Workshops. These additional offerings are tailored to meet the growing market demand for hassle-free, cost-effective automotive services, providing a seamless, end-to-end solution for corporate vehicle operators.
Bateriku.com’s CEO, Azarol Faizi Bin Zakaria Ansari, expressed his excitement about the collaboration. “I’d like to extend my gratitude to CAM (Sendok Group) for trusting in our services. This partnership signifies our shared commitment to enhancing the customer experience through innovative and sustainable automotive solutions. By combining CAM’s established industry expertise with our scalable sharing economy platform, we aim to set a new benchmark for convenience and efficiency in the automotive sector.”
Gwee Chin Li, Senior Manager of CAM (Sendok Group), echoed similar sentiments. “Throughout 2024, we have successfully piloted several after-sales support initiatives with Bateriku.com, including their on-site, on-demand roadside assistance services and pick-and-drop service. We are delighted to strengthen our collaboration with Bateriku.com, a well-respected industry player. This partnership enhances the overall customer experience for our rapidly expanding client base.”
The partnership is expected to drive substantial growth for both companies. With an estimated increase in annual service demands for 3,000 to 4,000 vehicles, the collaboration is projected to generate significant revenue. This move will not only strengthen CAM’s market position but also broaden Bateriku.com’s presence across the country through its network of BHeroes and Bpreneurs.
