Through its nationwide Huawei ICT Academy programme, Huawei partners with both public and private institutions of higher learning to offer advanced technical training in key digital domains such as 5G, 5.5G, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity. These aren’t just abstract concepts presented in textbooks; students are immersed in practical, hands-on labs and real-world scenarios, giving them firsthand experience with the same technologies that are shaping industries globally. To date, Huawei has established 45 ICT Academies in Malaysia, and these hubs of learning have already trained over 54,000 students—exceeding the company’s original five-year target set in 2021.
