The Malaysia Esports League 2023 Nationals (MEL23) are slated to take place this coming weekend. MEL23 plays a pivotal role in the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ (KBS) efforts to forge a resilient and all-encompassing esports environment. This undertaking aligns seamlessly with the KBS Esports Strategic Development Plan, which seeks to lay the groundwork for the enduring success of the esports industry.
The MEL23 State League has already ended recently, and then the National League follows this week according to the following schedule:

Champions for each game title in 13 states and 3 federal territories will gather at the ESI Hub, Spacerubix, and Puchong to win the title of MEL23 National Level Champion.
Prizes offered at the MEL23 National Level are:

The Malaysia Esports League is a competitive competition platform for local grassroots talent under the management of KBS and Impact Integrated through Esports Integrated (ESI).
MEL, which is entering its 3rd year of organizing this year, will feature three (3) game titles at the state and national level, namely Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), PUBG Mobile, and eFootball Mobile, while for the open series, three (3) game titles will be contested, namely eFootball Console, Valorant, and Counter-Strike 2. For all six (6) game titles that will be contested at MEL23, participants will win accumulated prize money amounting to RM 317,400.00.
MEL23 is an inclusive esports competition platform for local grassroots talents that is organized by KBS in collaboration with Impact Integrated through Esports Integrated (ESI). The initiative of MEL23 is the result of a partnership between KBS, ESI, and 16 States and Federal Territories Esports Associations. Besides that, MEL23 this year is supported by Goodday Milk (the official beverage partner), Rakita 107.9, What’s The Meta (the media partner), Rakan Muda (the collaborative partner), and MPL Malaysia.
