Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia (JLRM) has officially launched the Defender V8 in the local market, further strengthening the brand’s position in the luxury and high-performance SUV segment. Known for its combination of modern engineering, luxurious design, and off-road capability, the Defender V8 stands as a symbol of cutting-edge technology and exclusive adventure lifestyle.
Available in two main variants the Defender 110 V8 and Defender 130 V8 both are powered by an impressive 5.0L supercharged V8 engine. The 110 variant delivers 525PS and 625Nm of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. Meanwhile, the 130 variant offers 500PS and 610Nm of torque, achieving 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.
The Defender V8 also features quad outboard-mounted exhaust pipes that produce a bold and commanding V8 sound, giving it a distinct character from other models. It is the perfect blend of the Defender’s iconic heritage with the latest innovations in automotive engineering.
Inside, the Defender 110 V8 is equipped with 40:20:40 split-folding and heated rear seats, along with a center armrest. The Defender 130 V8 offers a flexible seating configuration with a 60:40 split, sliding second-row seats, and a third-row bench allowing for up to 8 passengers with maximum comfort and versatility.
