PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is gearing up for the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2024 (MotoGP™ Malaysia) from November 1st to 3rd. This year’s event marks the circuit’s 25th anniversary and will feature a special ‘After Race Fest’ to elevate the fan experience.
SIC CEO, Azhan Shafriman Hanif, expressed his enthusiasm for the milestone and the festival’s exciting lineup. He also announced an exclusive RM500 festival ticket offer for MotoGP™ Malaysia fans, available until August 31st.
The event holds special significance as it coincides with PETRONAS’ 50th anniversary and 75 years of MotoGP™ racing. “This is a celebration of our unity as one nation, one community, and one racing family,” said Azhan.
YB Adam Adli, Deputy Minister of Youth & Sports, highlighted the government’s support for motorsports and its positive impact. He acknowledged SIC’s role in hosting 25 successful MotoGP™ events and fostering a sustainable motorsports ecosystem.
PETRONAS Senior General Manager, Siti Azlina Abdul Latif, expressed pride in PETRONAS’ contribution to motorsports and its commitment to performance, talent development, and technological advancements.
