As the Hindu population in Malaysia celebrates this important festival, this Deepavali asks for a more colourful celebration. The economy is prospering, and the pandemic restrictions have been relaxed.

The Suria KLCC Group, consisting of Suria KLCC, Alamanda and Mesra Mall, is set to usher in the  festival of lights, which falls on 24 October 2022, with vivacious sights and sounds.

“Deepavali is a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and  good over evil. This festive season reminds us to not only celebrate with gusto, but also with  gratitude as we journey ahead as a community after the struggle of recent times.” said Andrew  Brien, CEO of the Suria KLCC Group.

Dazzling festivities at Suria KLCC

Suria KLCC will be hosting the Deepavali celebrations for 17 days, from 14 to 30 October 2022. A  vibrant garden installation at the Centre Court beckons visitors into its fold throughout this period. Visitors will be fêted to a lively setup filled with floral peacocks and traditional Indian gazebo adorned  with flower garlands. The festive mood is further augmented with Deepavali tunes.

In the middle of the garden, a 20-foot rotating kolam with motion sensor lighting and sound is poised  to provide visitors with a fun, interactive experience. This feature comes to life with multi-coloured  lights when shoppers trigger the sensors on this festive centrepiece. On selected weekends,  shoppers will also be treated to traditional Indian dance performances at the Centre Court.

Meanwhile, avid shoppers stand to be rewarded with Suria KLCC (SKLCC) Shopping e-Vouchers as part of the Shoppers Reward Programme. Those who spend RM600 and above in two receipts  at any specialty stores will receive a SKLCC Shopping e-Voucher worth RM50.
